Finally, for a walk that combines culture and nature, set off in search of the lagoons, the secret, discreet pools that shelter the forest massif. Several itineraries (lagoons at Saint Magne, Louchats, Arue, Brocas) allow you to explore these protected and sensitive areas.

Discover grey cranes, a real spectacle between October and March as they migrate through the Landes region. On their way from Scandinavia to Spain, the cranes pass through the Landes region, stopping to spend the winter before heading north again in spring. You’ll catch a glimpse of the “Gray Lady” in the sky as they arrive, forming a V-shaped group of around a hundred cranes with their recognizable trumpet call.
