Activities on Lac de Sanguinet

Enjoy swimming, sailing, fishing, kayaking, pedalos, windsurfing, Hawaiian pirogues or paddleboats.
If you prefer other water sports, head to Biscarrosse-Plage, just 30 minutes from the Lou Broustaricq campsite, for surfing, wave rafting and water skiing.

The region is popular with hikers and cyclists. Les Landes offers you the chance to spend a wonderful vacation and enjoy a wide range of walks, thanks to the cycle paths along the lake.


Close to the campsite, you’ll find a horse-riding center in Biscarrosse, as well as a go-karting track and an accrobranche (tree-climbing) course for sports enthusiasts.

Nature discovery and outings

In the surrounding area, be sure to explore the charming coastal town of Biscarrosse (20 km), with its stores, stalls and terraces. There’s also a large amusement park – ideal for families and friends – and a seaplane museum.

To the north, discover Arcachon (20 km) and its port. Discover the birds of the Bassin d’Arcachon and the mythical Dune du Pilat (Europe’s largest), well worth the detour. Discover the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park and the beaches of the Atlantic coast.
